Inkblot
Not another word had been spoken. Yet, there it was.
That belt -
Nonchalantly hanging there. How long had it been hiding among the others?
Here is simple notion laden with mixed messages. Swirling in my muddled head, I can get lost. Misreading silent intentions, I am often wrong.
But he is a simple man.
Reel it in.
What was that?
Take each day as it comes.
And so the responsibility to trust in myself is on the agenda for today.
A pinpoint of love spreads slowly into an inkblot.

Beautifully written, Lulu. I'm glad you're looking at the positive side and moving with grace and love, healing. Heart acts in mysterious way, cognition and emotion speak from opposite sides.
ReplyDeleteLearning to trust in ourselves is a beautiful thing my friend...
ReplyDeletelovely imagery with the ink blot and love. i don'tr know quite what to make of it, but i love the way it plays with my mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do if the ink blot doesn't turn into a puddle, and then a lake, and then an ocean? What do you do then?
ReplyDeletebut i must add, the belt was a nice gesture. i'm just too skeptical for my own good.
ReplyDeleteThe words you write LuLu always causes a memory for me.. probably not what your conveying but never the less... something that makes me want to understand my actions more. Great post:)
