Patronizing Crocodile

Patronizing crocodile,
Your tears cool, condescending
And merciless in shadows.

Water stained wine glass brimming
With sins of omission near
Cracked lips awkwardly twisted.

Little faith paper thin now
Wet and soft will not suspend
You over anyone.
