The temperature dropped forty degrees overnight.
The wind is tenacious and such gossamer snowflakes don't stand a chance. Whipped back and forth in a haphazard track to the concrete, I sympathize.
This life is not mapped out. Evanescent forces stretch me in all directions.
If I can just get through the next 18 months...
Focus.
"It is the very pursuit of happiness that thwarts happiness." - Viktor Frankl
Do you know the difference between a happy life and a meaningful one?
Know this: There is value in suffering.
do people not know that there is value in suffering?
ReplyDeleteChasing happiness is like chasing a rainbow or trying to get a cat to come to you.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself, ok?

ReplyDeleteI liked that a lot. That kind of writing catches my attention. I'll follow along.
Beautiful post and I loved the article. Sometimes at our lowest we forget our meaning, maybe finding meaning also brings a bit of happiness.
ReplyDeletei love how you describe the snowflakes being whipped about.
ReplyDeleteIs there value in suffering? I wonder how long one has to suffer before the value is realized. I feel like you're writing about my insides.
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
